Criterion
8a Systems are in place for:
recording
collating
analysing, and
reporting variances.
Supporting material for process standard 8:

Rationale
Care delivered through an ICP enables the care team to reflect on individual and grouped variations from planned care.
Examples of evidence required to meet standard 8:
- Policy for dealing with variances
- Names of staff or staff groups with responsibilty for recording, collating, analysing and acting on variances
