Supporting material for process standard 5:
Services should configure themselves to meet the needs of people
who seek their help. There should be a system of reviewing service
user needs against the staff skill mix. Such a system should
include a mechanism for regular review (yearly) to ensure the
training keeps pace with the needs of service users.
In the case of psychological therapies, these should be backed up
by training, clinical supervision and audit.
